Some Interesting Veterans Day Facts
- There are roughly 18.2 million living veterans who have served in at least one war as of 2018.
- 9 percent of veterans are women.
- More than 7 million veterans served during the Vietnam War, the last war in which there was a national draft.
- 3 million veterans have served during the War on Terror.
- As of 2018, of the 16 million Americans who served during World War II, only around 490,000 are still alive with the number shrinking rapidly every year.
- 2 million Americans served during the Korean War

- The Meadow Pointe III Christmas event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 11.
- Once again Santa’s Sleigh will be visiting the villages between 5pm-8pm. A schedule providing approximate times the sleigh will arrive at villages will be sent out later this month.
- We will also have a Pasco County fire truck and a Sheriff’s patrol vehicle participating in the parade.
- There will also be live music, food, beverages and other activities at the clubhouse.

DOH VACCINE UPDATE
Monoclonal Antibody Treatments (MAB) for COVID-19 can prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death among high-risk individuals. This treatment is available widely in Florida.
Individuals 12 years and older who are high-risk, that have contracted or been exposed to COVID-19, are eligible for this treatment. Treatment is free and vaccination status does not matter.
